Bankok, 9 December 2011 – So often the lives and stories of refugees and asylum seekers are told through the people who know them. We at JRS focus on telling those stories but understand the power of people telling their own stories.
Seven urban asylum seekers who JRS works with in Bangkok photographed their lives for two months. These are the photos and the words they chose. They are from different countries and left for different reasons. They range from 16–45 years old. But they all now live in Bangkok, waiting for resettlement.
