Advocacy

JRS is dedicated to ensuring that refugees and asylum seekers have access to legal documentation and essential services. Through collaboration with authorities and local communities, we work to protect their rights and support their integration into society.
JRS works closely with immigration offices and law enforcement to follow up on documentation processes for refugees and asylum seekers. We provide assistance in securing the necessary legal documents, ensuring their access to essential services and protection. Additionally, we support children without documentation in enrolling in school, advocating for their right to education despite legal barriers.
Beyond legal support, JRS fosters connections between refugees and the communities where they live. By facilitating integration and promoting mutual understanding, we help ensure that refugees are recognized and supported within their local communities, fostering a sense of belonging and social inclusion.
